This is a movement class with a unique approach that incorporates elements of yoga, dance, and mindfulness. In this class we will connect to our breath, mind, and body through various activities that connect to the wholeness of the mover within the the present moment. No prior dance experience necessary, just an open mind and spirit. In this class we will create a safe and encouraging space to explore movement looking inward to look outward.

Having navigated her own path to resilience after experiencing profound challenges, including a life-altering bank robbery, PTSD, loss, and divorce, she understands firsthand the transformative power of yoga. Certified in Yin, Kundalini, and children's yoga, as well as trauma-informed practices, she is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for all participants.

With over 15 years of personal practice and 7 years of teaching experience, Patti is passionate about empowering others to reconnect with their bodies, minds, and inner strength. Each class is thoughtfully themed with a focus on healing and resilience, providing a holistic approach to well-being.

Restorative Yoga and EFT Tapping with Carrie in collaboration with Laura owner of Mindful Matters May 11th 11:00 - 1:00 pm

Join Carrie and Laura Gavigan, (Mindful Counselor,Coach and Educator, is a certified EFT practitioner and owner of MindfulMatters.) for a workshop that focuses on You! We will be connecting our mind/body and spirit through Restorative Yoga and EFT tapping.

 

We will begin class focusing on tapping on specific acu-points which will be led by Laura! EFT tapping is a mind-body method of tapping acupuncture points (acu-points) on the hands, face, and body with your fingertips while focusing on an issue or feeling someone is hoping to resolve.

 

Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. We will focus on a few poses that are in correlation with what Laura went over during our tapping portion of the workshop!

 

These methodologies together may reduce stress and anxiety, improve performance, lessen cravings, and help resolve chronic pain, fears and improve confidence within yourself!

It is often miraculous when humans identify with their physical body. For so many people, the BODY is so detached from the mind and FEELING into the sensations of the body takes focus and commitment. Human beings often think of themselves in physical terms, at best, and as a physical body and a thinking mind. The next level of human evolution is understanding that we are made up of 10 bodies: the physical body, 3 mental bodies, and 6 energy bodies.

 

Join me for a practice of Kundalini to awaken the 10 bodies and experience a mild energetic transformation within!
